Morning Yoga for All Classes

Start your Saturday morning (weather permitting) with some gentle stretching and breathing exercises, and get your body feeling "yoga good" for a busy day of reunion activities! This is a mixed-level class featuring modifications for all levels of ability, so whether you have been practicing for years or have never touched a yoga mat, everyone can have an enjoyable experience in this class. Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. No previous yoga experience necessary; children and all ages welcome.

After President Salovey’s update, join singers from all classes for a jamboree celebrating Yale’s incredible musical tradition. Alumni from the Glee Club and Whiffenpoof and Whim ’n Rhythm alumni groups, conducted by Glee Club alumna Stephanie Tubiolo '14. MMus '16, will perform Yale favorites from many generations, concluding with a rousing rendition of “Bright College Years.” (The Glee Club rehearsal for the Celebration will take place at 10:30 am Saturday morning as part of "Morning at Yale." All singers are welcome!)

Class of 1982 Traditional Class Dinner

The traditional class dinner served under the tent with an international flavor.  Buffet entrees to include: quinoa-black olive cakes, steamed pork and shrimp dim sum, tamari roasted baby back ribs, drunken noodles station with free-range chicken and tofu, a penne pasta bar with a choice of several sauces, and Lebanese chicken with toum.  "Bright College Year" lead by the Class of 1982's Whiff's and Whims. 

Gentleman, please leave your jacket and ties at home, and ladies dress accordingly!

University Church Worship

Join Yale’s ecumenical Christian community for Sunday worship, which will include prayers for alumni who have died, a sermon by The Reverend Dr. Raquel St. Clair Lettsome '92, and wonderful music and liturgy. Rev. Lettsome is an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church.  For 16 years, she served as the first female Executive Minister of the historic 4000 member St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church in Newark, NJ.  She is currently an Associate Minister at Union A.M.E. Church in Warwick, NY.  Her preaching distinctions include the 2011 Distinguished Preachers Series at Riverside Church, NY, the 2011 George A. Crawley Women in Ministry Preacher at the Hampton University Ministers’ Conference, a conference preacher for the 2012 Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference, and a conference preacher for the 2017 Festival of Homiletics.  Dr. Lettsome holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Yale University, a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, and she is the first African American to earn a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies at Princeton Theological Seminary (2005).  Dr. Lettsome is the wife of the Rev. Lydell C. Lettsome, M.D. and mother of Tiffany Simone and Luke Charles.
