Yale Club of Central PA
where
Old Blues are scattered about
rather than clumped together and
where the
color blue usually implies
Big Ten Football rather than the Ivy League
Activities and Events: For more information on this year's Community Service Summer Fellow and the Summer Event, check out the Latest Newsletter. If you live in Central PA and are not getting the newsletter by email or snail mail, drop a line to Rod Diaz.
Community Service Summer Fellow: We sponsor a summer internship that enables a current Yale student to work at a local non-profit community service organization. Past organizations have included a group home for homeless women, a group home for developmentally disabled, and a half-way house for female offenders.
Summer Event: We have a summer event (picnic, concert, whatever) where folks can get together and meet the Summer Fellow.
Fall Event -- The Game: The club usually gets together to watch the Yale-Harvard football game in November. In years past, the club has been instrumental in getting The Game webcast by Yale.
Winter Luncheon: During Yale’s winter break, the Club hosts a luncheon to which we invite local kids attending Yale. Click here for picture.

For Mother Yale, Central Pennsylvania comprises that vast, mostly rural, countryside from Maryland to New York and from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh (but not including either).
