Yale TV in 2004
Yale's been everywhere on TV this season, and Yale in Hollywood
events have been right there to spotlight the Yale angle. The campus as set location is
not just a coincidence, but part of the University's outreach to
Hollywood to bolster Yale's image in mainstream media, which also
gives students exposure to film. Read more in the
Yale Campus Dressed up for Hollywood
Sets article.
- A week after our Yale in Hollywood
TV panel, panelist
Steve Skrovan's (executive producer) Everybody Loves
Raymond wins the Emmy's Best Comedy award. A few weeks
later, panelist Jon Feldman's show Tru Calling
premieres.
- Jeopardy! College Championship shows that were taped at Yale
aired during sweeps weeks Nov 10-21. The Jeopardy! set featured
replicas of Harkness Tower and HGS. We had a local
LA taping of
Jeopardy! where 2 dozen Yalies got a welcome from Alex Trebek
and free frisbees.
- On Gilmore Girls, Rory chooses Yale over Harvard
(excellent choice!) The Game episode even includes Yale caps,
sweatshirts, flags, and even the Whiffs! We had a local

Tour to see the Burbank Yale.
