I look at this as a virtual class book, where each of us who arrived in New Haven in September 1949 has a place, a memory, a podium from which to speak.
But this depends on you.
You need to send us information about yourself, and about your roommates and friends - and their wives, widows, and children. And about what you want this website to be for you.
I am working with a web design specialist associated with Association of Yale Alumni (AYA) to produce a website that will serve us all. We will soon announce how you can design your own web page for this site and how you can contribute to creation of websites for your friends, especially those whom we want to remember after their deaths.
The site already (well very soon now) can take care of your plans and expectations for our fiftieth reunion at www.aya.yale.edu/reunions and can link you to your classmates (via AYA’s directory at www.aya.yale.edu).
Over the next few weeks, let me know what you would want a Website for the Class of 1953 to look like for you and your classmates.
