June 20 – July 7, 2007 YAC in Africa!

The Yale Alumni Chorus has accumulated an impressive resume in its short 8-year history. We’ve sung in some of the finest venues on four continents. Now we’re about to add a fifth:

Africa!

Next summer we will visit South Africa, where the Power of Song has changed history. In the long Struggle against apartheid, song was all-important as a unifying factor.  In very real terms, the Power of Song served to amplify the power of the people’s message.
